Artist’s Statement
I am drawn to things that are changed with age, eroded yet simultaneously reborn. The beauty that arises from age, imperfection, and irregularity can be seen in both man-made things and in nature. The objects I create attempt to capture this beauty.
Bio
I have been making ceramics for over 20 years, and have had an online, mostly pottery, shop on Etsy. In recent years I’ve shifted my attention from pottery to sculptural work. This work has been selected for juried exhibitions at Ink and Clay 46 and in Artistonish Magazine.
